Southwestern Minnesota
Great Northern Hunting Company is headquartered
in Marshall, MN. Our guides cover thousands of acres of land within a 200 mile radius. From hardwood-lined river bottoms to newly harvested corn fields and from rolling hills filled with switch grass to ponds chock-full of cattails, we've got the terrain for you.
Marshall is located among the windswept prairies of southwestern Minnesota
(not all that far away from Walnut Grove - Little House on the Prairie).
This primarily agricultural area provides ample food sources for the vast wildlife. But, among the corn and soybean fields, you'll find that
the area is laced with sloughs, ponds, rivers and stands of hardwoods. The Redwood River, Minnesota River, and Cottonwood Rivers are among the preferred areas for our guides.
If your arrangements require you to fly in, Marshall is approximately 150 miles west/southwest from Minneapolis International Airport (MSP) or 95 miles northeast of the Sioux Falls, SD Regional airport (FSD). Marshall does have its own, high quality airfield, Marshall/Ryan Field (MML).
